The WIP round is a Nashville-Style songwriters round created to spotlight the raw, real & resonant sides of songwriting.
The night is founded and hosted by Nina Sundstrom and arose from a desperate need to provide a space for songwriters to share their work in its most honest form and to turn the focus back to the backbone of music: the songs themselves. Across 4 rounds, Nina will be joined by 3 of the most talented songwriters the UK has to offer, sharing songs and the stories behind their creation in an intimate and acoustic environment.
Over its debut year, the WIP round has gained a reputation as a place to hear exceptional songs steeped in authentic charm, and as a result, a growing community of songwriters has begun to form around the night. Join us for another night of exceptional music right from the creative source.
Joining Nina this evening was co-collaborator Hannah Grace. To the left of Nina were singer-songwriters Adrien Latgé and Caitlin MacKlon.
The audiance were quite and attentive, focusing on the stories behind the songs and appreciating the beautiful songs. All the musicians really appreciated how respectful and engaged the audience was.
